Schizophrenia Research Foundation (SCARF India) is a non-profit mental healthcare organisation founded in 1984 by a group of mental health professionals and philanthropists led by Padma Bhushan Dr M Sarada Menon.

The organisation provides a number of mental health care services from clinical services to research and education. The clinical services include tele-consultation, in-patient and out-patient services along with rehabilitation and free day care services.
In terms of residential care (long-term stay), they have three centers.

Bhavishya Bhavan – The Thiruverkadu center
The center was established in 1991 (on land donated by the temple trust with donations from Help Age India, IDBI, Madras Round Table I) and houses 70 mentally disabled women and elderly.
Bhagwan Mahavir Manav Sanmarga Seva Kendra
A center with 40 beds for males in Mahabalipuram, on land donated by Sri Sankaracharya of Kanchi with Sri. Sugalchand, Jindal Trust & Sri. G.N. Damani being the major donors
Sarada Menon Centre
Inaugurated in 2003 with contributions from the Chennai Willingdon Trust, the Swadhar scheme of the Government of India and the MK Tata Trust. It accommodates 40 persons who require rehabilitation.
